My artworks explore ideas relevant to the moment we inhabit. I am deeply inspired by the natural world, and my passion is to express the essence of reality, both seen and unseen.

In my work, I’ve been fortunate to work with teams of talented people, and have learned a tremendous amount from these collaborations. I’ve also been exposed to artists that have inspired and influenced me, including Jenny Holzer, Barbara Krueger, and David Hockney.

Now, I draw upon all this experience to create work that reflects both an ancient and modern view of the world.

I earned an MFA from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), and spent more than three decades as a film and video director. I am also the creator of Operation Dragon, an epic graphic novel published by Dark Horse Books.
